I came across this cake idea in a Woman's Day magazine. I though it was adorable, but since I'm not a teacher, nor do I have children of school age, I wasn't sure I would ever make this. Then I remembered that a friend of mine (who is a teacher) had a "Back to School Night" picnic at her new school, so I gently convinced her that we could make this cake together!
