Hoisin-Marinated Pork Chops (from Bobby Flay's Boy Meets Grill)
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
3/4 Tbls rice wine vinegar
1/2 Tbls soy sauce
1 clove garlic, coarsely chopped (I used a press)
1/4 tsp sesame oil
3 thin pork chops
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
In a small bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil. Place the chops in a shallow pan or baking dish, pour the marinade over them, and refrigerate, covered, 2 to 3 hours, turning once. (I mixed all my ingredients in a gallon size ziplock bag, coated pork chops and placed in refrigerator.) Preheat grill to high. Remove chops from marinade, shaking off the excess (discard used marinade). Season with salt and pepper and grill 2 to 3 minutes on each side for medium well.
